Thai Beef Salad


Thai Beef Salad


2 lbs. Roasting beef ( rump or silverside cut)
2 heads Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Fresh coriander, pounded
1 tsp Fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup Fish sauce or Maggi seasoning
1/4 cup lime juice, fresh squeezed
4 medium Fresh red chillies, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Lemon grass, sliced, don't include the green part
2 whole English cucumber, finely sliced
1/2 cup Red onions, sliced finely
1 tbsp Brown raw sugar
1 medium Bunch fresh mint leaves

Wash the beef and pat dry with paper towel, and cook on a preheated grill until medium rare (also you can can grill over charcoals)

and allows to cool down, but alternatively you can also use thin slices of rare roast beef.

In a medium bowl mix all all the ingredients, combine them all with onions, lemom grass, cucumber, mint and thinly sliced of grilled beef

Toss lightly and this can be serve immediately

Servings good for 12-to 15 people
