Tofu Salad


Japanese Tofu Salad

2 blocks Tofu (soy bean curd)
1/2 head Shredded lettuce (washed and strain)
2 whole Tomatoes, diced
2 stalks Negi (green onions), chopped
1 medium Can of salmon or tuna
1/4 cup Salad oil
1/4 Cup shoyu ( Japanese soy sauce)
2 tsp. Sesame oil
1 tsp. Lemon juice

Wash and drain the tofu and cut into cubes and arrange the tofu on the lettuce.

Garnish with tomatoes, negi, and salmon or tuna.

Heat the salad oil, shoyu, sesame oil, and lemon juice and let it cool down.

Pour over the tofu before serving.

Serve for 4 -6 people.

Simple tips:

A simple spring time meal, I do suggest this really go well with any tempura dish.
