Fried Shrimps

 

Hot & Spicy Fried Shrimps

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. Large raw shrimps (prawns)
3 tbsp. Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 tbsp. Sambal hot & spicy chili sauce
4 cloves Garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. Coarse salt
2 tbsp. Canola or olive oil
3 strips Lemon rind, thinly peeled
2 whole Tomatoes, finely chopped

Procedure:

Wash well, shell and de vein prawns

Heat oil in frying pan and fry the garlic and onion until they soften

Add Sambal hot & spicy chili sauce and lemon rind, then add prawns and fry.

Stir constantly until prawns change its color to pink.

Add tomato and lemon juice and simmer on low heat until gravy get thicker and the oil start to separate.

Remove lemon rind.

Stir in the salt and serve immediately, while it's warm.

Serve 6 people.

My Recommendation:

When made this dish I serve them with special fried rice and bowl of wonton soup.
