Hake Fillets


Hake Fillets Potato Pie with Breadcrumb Crust


1 lb. Potatoes, cut into 2 inches slices
1 cup Butter
1 lb. Hake fillets, skinned
2 slices White bread
4 cloves Garlic
1/4 cup Fresh parsley
some Sea salt to taste
some Ground black pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 400F temperature.

Boil the potatoes for 2 minutes and drain.

Grease an ovenproof dish with half of the butter.

Cut the hake fillets into1 inch slices and layer in the dish with the potato slices.

Season and dot with the rest of the butter and cover and bake for 15 minutes basting with butter twice.

Process the bread, garlic and parsley into crumbs.

Season, then sprinkle over the pie and bake, uncovered for 15 minutes or until cook and crispy.

Serve 4-6 people.
