Chicken Honey


Greek Chicken in Honey Glaze


10 -12b tbsp. Honey
Lemon juice freshly squeeze 
1 1/2 cup  Red wine
some Cavender's Greek seasoning (can be purchase in most Greek Stores)
6 pieces Fresh chicken breasts, remove the skin if prefer
6 tsp.. Butter or margarine


Meantime preheat the oven to 350 F

Clean chicken breasts and pat dry in paper towel until they feel well dry.

After chicken has dried, rub margarine all over the breast cavity.

Liberally sprinkle seasoning over all breasts, including breast cavity.

Place in the oven for 20 minutes allowing the spice to absorb then remove from oven.

Spoon about 1 1/2 tbsp. of honey over per breast and pour red wine over each breast.

Return to oven and turn breasts over so that rib side is up, chicken breast will absorb the mixture, it will baste occasionally.

After 30 minutes., turn chicken breasts over, so the meat side is up, to allow chicken to get brown.

Return to oven for 10 minutes  and the remove.

Serve immediately.

Serves 6 people.
