Shrimps  Chilies


Shrimps with Fresh Green Chilies


1/2 lb. package Egg noodle, separate, to cook quicker
1 lb.  Large Shrimps, washed, drain, shelled but leave the tails
4 large  Fresh Serrano chilies, green or red, seeded and chopped finely
4 large cloves  Fresh Garlic, minced
2 large size Onions, chopped finely
2 tbsp.  Butter, low fat if possible
1 tbsp.  Fresh Basil, chopped finely
1/4 cup  Chinese Celery or Cilantro, chopped finely only the leaves
1 tsp.  White sugar, (optional)
1 glass  Riesling wine
1/2 tsp.  Fresh Ground pepper
some Fish Sauce to taste


In medium high heat, use a wok, put the butter and sauté the garlic, onions and chilies for 5 minutes. remove, leave the rest of the oil in the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, fry the shrimps stir in evenly for 5 minutes, combine with the wine sugar, fish sauce and ground pepper and cook for 5 -8 minutes covered.

Mix in the noodle and stir, simmer  for 3 minutes and sprinkle the Basil and cilantro, covered and cook for 1 minute.

Mix and add the garlic mixture and stir evenly.

Serve immediately as a complete meal until it's warm.

Serve for 4 people.


Cooking time:   25 minutes

Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
